School Snack

Each child is provided with a free piece of fruit or vegetable daily as a healthy snack option.

 

Healthy Packed Lunch

Please find below an example of a healthy packed lunch. A healthy lunch should include:

  • Starchy carbs for energy, vitamins and fibre: bread, wraps, pasta, rice etc
  • Protein to fill up: meat, eggs, pulses
  • Vegetables and Fruit to count towards the five a day
  • Calcium rich food for healthy bones: cheese, yoghurt etc
